自我隔離不等於社交隔離 Self-isolation Does Not Mean Social Isolation

Living in Hong Kong for long enough, you would have tears in your eyes when you hear a government official from the Ministry of Health in a great country like New Zealand ending his address to the media with a reminder like this:

It's really important for mental well-being that we stay connected with each other more so than ever.
There are many ways to reach out to people, through phone, social media, online contact, even if you can't visit them in person.
Talking to people and checking in on others keeps us all connected.
This is more important than ever.
The smallest and largest question you can ask someone is: Are you okay?

In Hong Kong, we don't seem to have the human factor in our mind anymore.

Major sports events cancelled, Disneyland closed, lights out at Broadway in New York, stock trading halted at NYSE - if this is not a war, I don't know what is.

Only in Hong Kong do we see all government officials sound and safe, well and alive.  Screw it!

I don't mind fighting in a war, but I do mind seeing no shameless officials down in this war!
